You Can’t Manage What You Don’t Measure.
Stop Guessing. Use Real Data and Start Saving Water.
Here’s a little story…
A new customer installed their AgriLynk system and started tracking data.
Soon after, they irrigated their grove per the usual schedule. AgriLynk tracked the soil moisture before, during, and after, and noted the irrigation event itself.
They watered for 12 hours that day.
As they usually do.
But with AgriLynk, we were able to see that it was completely unnecessary. Soil tension levels were at practically nothing…meaning their field was already completely saturated.
…They wasted 126,000 gallons of water.
That’s right. They watered twice in one day, for six hours each time — 12 hours in total — when the soil was already as wet as could be. All that water for no reason.
At their current water rates from their water district, that 10 hours of irrigation cost them over $250.
$250 for 126,000 gallons to water a field that was already wet. Why?
Because it’s what they’ve always done.
Set the schedule based on guesswork, and adhere to that schedule like clockwork.
Because the top soil was loose and dry, they assumed it was like that all the way down through the root zone.
But their grove sits in mostly clay down below, and they never realized it. That clay holds that water for days and days and days.
When we spoke to them about it, they went all the way out to the field to double check.
Six days had passed since they’d watered last, and sure enough, the dirt beneath the surface was still sopping wet.
If their irrigation schedule had them watering twice a week, that would mean:
- They were wasting $500 per week or more on water.
- They were starving their trees’ roots of oxygen and allowing microbial chaos, potentially causing long-term damage and hindering yield.
So…now what?
Since this revelation, the grower has completely changed their irrigation habits.
They’ve gone from blindly watering because the schedule said so to using AgriLynk data and waiting until the trees actually need water.
Instead of irrigating for 12 hours a day, they irrigate for only 4.
Money-wise, that’s going from $250 or more per irrigation event every two or three days…
…to $85 per event, and doing it maybe once a week.
You don’t need a calculator to know that’s a HUGE savings.
That’s the kind of information AgriLynk provides.
If you want to know how moist your fields’ soil is and when to water (and when NOT to water), we can help.

About AgriLynk
AgriLynk began like many businesses: by trying to solve a problem. When Troy Connor of Kendall Farms realized there were no products on the market that could help him monitor the important info points for his fields AND provide a means to resolve the issues, he enlisted the help of a friend: engineer and businessman Don Vaniman. Together, they developed the precise tools Troy needed to improve irrigation operations on his farm. They very quickly realized that this technology could do much, much more…
What makes Agrilynk unlike other businesses is the product itself: a truly scalable system of monitoring data using sensors in the fields and gateways to connect the data to the farmer via computer or even mobile device, with the ability to control irrigation valves on demand or on a schedule, and with an alert system to let the farmer know when something isn’t right. With Agrilynk, farmers can make critical operational decisions, solve problems, and improve profitability without leaving their chair.
It’s a revolutionary product for farms nationwide, and it costs hundreds or even thousands less than other systems that don’t even come close to what Agrilynk does.

Growers Trust AgriLynk
“Whoa, this is huge, it is going to change everything…Now I just need to apply the data and use it to water correctly.”
HOW IT WORKS
Electronic sensors in the field measure and report data; that data is viewable from a computer or mobile device in your dashboard. The AgriLynk system provides remote farm management solutions and is capable of monitoring nearly any sensor with an electronic output.
Our system enables remote irrigation control, either manually or with a timer. The advanced scheduler can be programmed to follow a simple schedule, or use advanced features that allow irrigation only if the moisture level drops below your settings — and turn off automatically when the soil moisture reaches your preferred level. AgriLynk will send you alerts via text and email when your thresholds are reached.
AgriLynk can monitor:
- Soil moisture
- Reservoirs and well water depth (over 1,000 ft. below the surface)
- Well and municipal water flows
- Pressures in your irrigation lines or other critical areas
- Temperatures (air, soil, compost piles, refrigerated spaces, and more)
- Nearly any sensor with an electronic output
AgriLynk can also remotely control:
- Irrigation valves — on demand, scheduled, or fully automatic based on soil sensors
- VFD pumps, based on your settings
The applications are endless but the results are the same: reliable information when you need it, and automation that improves your operations while saving you money.
